Wow- WOW! Thank you for sharing this story. Iām so glad your family survived this storm. Iām so glad we met you today. It was just the sign we needed to remind us that we are on the right path. ššš
As I began following your journey, I wondered how the storm impacted you & your family. Seeing your pictures & reading your words of the āreal timeā events happening around you, truly showcased what people were enduring. This is local for me & your respect & honor in the way you shared everything is so appreciated! I am looking forward to reading the rest of your familyās story & am thankful, you heeded the feeling of getting out when you did.
Wow, what a respectful and detailed picture you have drawn for us all to truly understand the levels of devastation that has affected so many. Thank you for sharing the links for donation so we can help on some level. So glad you are all safe. Absolutely terrifying how close you came ro another outcome.
Thank you for sharing this incredibly touching post. You made it so real beyond what Iāve seen on the news. What an experience. So very glad you evacuated when you did. Sending healing thoughts for you and all those affected. // Thank you for adding sites for donations.
You give an excellent first hand account of the destruction from hurricane Helene. Iāve been wondering and praying for your safety. Prayers and hugs as you continue to come to terms with what you experience , prayers for all the neighbors as well.
What an absolutely horrifying story Melanie. I'm so glad you got out before it was too late...I deeply sorry for the kitty. I was wondering about her through the whole story. You gave her food and a few hours of refuge. Please dont second guess your decisions to leave her in the house. It was your best intention...The stories I'm hearing from friends down there are horrendous and my prayers go out to all
